We are pleased to invite you to join an intimate group of discerning participants for our inimitable, private discovery of the treasures of the French Riviera — during which we will be received by experts, leading architects and members of the French cultural elite — opening the doors to many of the French Riviera’s exclusive, private residences, art collections and gardens, never open to the public.

The French Riviera evokes visions of elegance and leisure. During eight memorable days, we will follow in the footsteps of legendary artists, writers, actors, and aristocrats who resided in the region during its golden age: F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau, Coco Chanel, and many more, in the company of our expert lecturer.

The history of the French Riviera takes us back to Ulysses and the classical world, and forward through fabulous wealth into eclectic architectural styles in stunning settings: Belle Époque mansions—such as Villa Ephrussi de Rothshild—which reigned supreme from the 1880’s to the 1910’s when styles were revolutionized by Art Deco villas, followed by exemplary Modernist houses—such as Eileen Grey’s villa E1027, and its neighbor Le Corbusier’s utilitarian Le Cabanon.

Saint Jean-Cap-Ferrat: a secluded treasure of the French Riviera, where we will be invited to breathtaking private villas and gardens in spectacular settings.

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Monaco: we will be welcomed into the luxurious, intimate world of European aristocrats, international private collectors and aesthetes, including the former residence of American fashion photographer Henry Clarke.

Monaco: a special evening awaits us with our hosts at the members-only Yacht Club de Monaco, designed by Sir Norman Foster, with spectacular views of the Principality.

Menton: we are invited to one of the most extravagant villas and gardens of the Riviera, classified a French Historical Monument, designed and built in the 1920’s by Ferdinand Bac, architect, garden designer, decorator and writer; considered Bac’s greatest creation.

Le Muy: Epicenter of Contemporary art on the French Riviera. We are invited by international gallerist Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand to his exceptional Domaine du Muy, presenting sculptures of famous artists in the park and in the showroom, created by renowned architect India Mahdavi. Welcome by the award-winning French Conceptual artist Bernar Venet and his wife Diane, who will specially open their stunning private residence and sculpture garden to us.

Grasse: we will enjoy the Provence Art de Vivre with our esteemed hosts at their elegant traditional 18th century bastides surrounded by creative gardens—such as the stunning garden and park created in 1950 by the internationally renowned landscape architect Russell Page.

In view of the exclusivity of our program and to assure the full enjoyment of each participant and quality exchanges with our distinguished hosts and experts, the maximum number of participants is set at 15
